mibrasaAnd finally the time has come, MESAMÉRICA 2013 has begun, the most important gastronomy conference of Mexico, featuring talks by some of the world’s best chefs. 


Mesamérica is an inclusive and multidisciplinary conference, which brings together some of the most distinguished figures from the world of gastronomy, as well as professionals from other fields, working together to complement this culinary phenomenon.The second edition of this annual gathering signifies a historic moment which will see gathered at the forefront of world cuisine, those figures who are building the history of contemporary cuisine. 


Among them will be our friend and client Alfredo Villanueva from XbxCafé México:


Self-taught and eager to share his taste and gastronomic talent, his energy and vigour for cooking led him to work in prominent restaurants throughout the Basque Country, including Urepel, Zuberoa and Miramon (2002 -2004) Upon his return to Mexico, he capitalized on all the experience he gained working as a gastronomic consultant and funded the Xbx Café restaurant, an eclectic and informal place where the food is cooked over a wood stove. 


We are very pleased and proud to announce that, Mr. Villanueva, continuing in his tradition of being at the forefront of modern cuisine, as well as working with the best and latest technology, has purchased a brand new MIBRASA Charcoal Oven HMB AC 110 (colour: inox) for his newest project.
